In regular stopwatch mode it shows: the time and date you started counting, the current time and date, total elapsed time (running total). With countdown mode enabled you can input any combination of hours, minutes and/or seconds. Once you start the countdown it displays the start time, the projected stop time, and the total time left. When the countdown reaches the projected stop time, you are alerted with a pop up and a tone. Since most PPC devices go to sleep within 2 minutes when idle, WMStopWatch will schedule the system to wake up 30 seconds before the stop time if the total time to count is more than 60 seconds.Countdown continues until stopped. Once completed, "remaining time" turns into "Overage", and the selected alert continues at the prechosen interval. Saved preferences are automatically loaded at startup
